How many times have you pictured yourself as one of the characters in a famous movie?
Now imagine that this dream comes true!
Not only will you step into the movie, but you will interact with the characters and you will actually be a part of what will happen.
Preparation
They revealed to us the secret London location when we received the tickets a few days prior to the event. We also received instructions on how to create our new identities as undercover agents at the Casino Royale along with suggestions on props, to help us prepare for a glamorous night with a twist.
I had to build up my character, how I made my millions as a fashion impresario and the reason I am at the Casino Royale.
The event
The event started at 5:45 and the movie would begin at 8:00. But that the earlier we would get there, the better, as we would have time to get the most out of this experience.
As soon as we arrived, a red carpet was rolled out for us to walk on it. Everybody was properly dressed for the occasion.
Before we entered, they sealed our mobiles in a lock bag, so no-one could take any pictures on the inside.
A wonderful venture was about to begin! We left the word as we knew it at the entrance, to hop into the James Bond world in the most spectacular way, within seconds! There was a fusion between the actors and us. Everyone was playing their role, and we were fully immersed in the action.
The experience
Everything, from the sets, the props, the atmosphere, was just like in the movie with great attention to detail! The different sets were just jaw-dropping and we were encouraged to talk with the actors, being in character at all time! There was also food and drinks we could buy from a variety of vendors from different areas, which was very good.
We explored the various locations of the movie that they had recreated and enjoyed gameplays of Poker, talking and interacting with the actors. It was something else! We also won a game with two A’s just like James Bond in the movie.
The highlight was the opening of the film! It is a big spoiler and unfortunately I cannot tell, but I can only say that it was so good I had tears of excitement in my eyes.
During the movie, there were a lot of interactive parts with actors, feeling that the movie is happening all around.
I can’t describe in detail what happened as it’s a secret. The only thing I can say is that if you are a James Bond fan, or if you fancy an evening filled with martinis, action and suspense, then you should definitely book your tickets!
Some tips
- It’s encouraged to dress up for the occasion and to build up your character. The more you immerse yourself into character and interact with the environment the better the experience will be.
- It’s really important to arrive as early as possible. This way you will have more time to soak in and explore more.
- All mobiles are sealed before entering the venue.

We are now thinking of going to the next one in Autumn. Secret Cinema will present Stranger Things.
