Winter Wonderland.
Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
We’re happy tonight,
Walking in a winter wonderland.Gone away is the bluebird,
Here to stay is a new bird
He sings a love song,
As we go along,
Walking in a winter wonderland. In the meadow we can build a snowman,
Then pretend that he is Parson Brown
He’ll say: Are you married?
We’ll say: No man,
But you can do the job
When you’re in town.Later on, we’ll conspire,
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid,
The plans that we’ve made,
Walking in a winter wonderland. In the meadow we can build a snowman,
And pretend that he’s a circus clown
We’ll have lots of fun with mister snowman,
Until the other kids knock him down. When it snows, ain’t it thrilling,
Though your nose gets a chilling
We’ll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,
Walking in a winter wonderland.
To be honest, I have visited Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park many times in the past, but this year, it was truly magic! This amazing corner in Hyde Park has become a Christmas landmark for Londoners and tourists for many years now, so if you are planning your visit London during Christmas time, don’t forget to visit this festive village at Hyde Park.
It offers ice skating on the UK’s largest outdoor ice rink, shows, festive roller coaster rides, winter street food stalls, Christmas markets, festive bars, live music and many more! My favourite attraction this year, was the Bavarian Village that offers an Oktoberfest experience.
Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park Corner
Opens every day from 10 am -10 pm until 1st January 2018
The entrance is free though many attractions inside Winder Wonderland are ticketed.
Until next time ♥
