Holland Park’s Kyoto Garden

Holland Park's Kyoto Garden

Holland Park’s Kyoto Garden.

There is a small charming corner at Holland Park where it immediately travels you to Japan. It’s the Kyoto Garden and it’s a true oasis of calm and Japanese zen.

It’s one of the most beautiful and popular gardens in London and Holland Park’s main attraction.

Holland Park is located in west London, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It’s a beautiful large park with various gardens included.

The Kyoto Garden is a serene spot in the middle of the park. It was built to celebrate the 1992 Japan festival in London, as a gift from the city of Kyoto to honour the friendship between Great Britain and Japan.

Kyoto Garden is a serene authentic Japanese garden with a beautiful waterfall, a pond that is full of colourful koi carp swimming in it and a small bridge that crosses over the water. All around, there are various types of trees including Japanese maple trees, lush plants and a few stone lanterns.

We also found a peacock showing off ♥

One of the last times I visited it, there was a professional photo shooting of a beautiful dancer.

This added up an extra magical touch to the tranquil scenery.
