Cycladic Art Cafe.
Some days ago, I visited the new Cycladic Café at the Cycladic Art Museum in the centre of Athens.
I wanted to visit it for so long because I had read about the renovation of the atrium and the new Cycladic Café.
As soon as I entered the atrium area, I saw a beautiful small oasis! The rich natural sunlight that enters from the evocative floating façade-sculpture provides linear shadows all over this beautiful atrium!
The dense vegetation creates the illusion of being in a garden and in conjunction with the minimalist design, (the predominant colour is simple white), makes this inner open space so elegant.
Cycladic Cafe is open during the opening hours of the museum. It is available for corporate events, such as small cocktails and business dinners.
During my stay at this wonderful place, I also visited the museum’s permanent collections. They contain objects of Cycladic, Ancient Greek and Cypriot art.
The museum is in a central location so I highly recommend it to everyone!
