London Christmas spirit

London Christmas spirit

London Christmas spirit.

There is a time of the year where everything is sparkling! And even though It lies between the darkest days of the year… it’s pure magic.

London starts the Christmas celebrations from the early days of November. The city dresses in a joyful atmosphere with so many Christmas markets around, that it is just difficult to miss!

There are Christmas lights ceremonies of the famous streets and neighbourhoods of London. These festive events attract thousants of people and have loys of perfomances.

One of the most spectacular activities is the outdoor ice skating rinks, and one of the most iconic, is at the Natural History Museum.

For me the highlight of the outdoor activities, are the wonderful Christmas markets.

Some of my favourites are the Southbank Centre Christmas festival by the river Thames and the Leicester Square Christmas market. They are full of stalls that are  packed with festive treats, giifts, lots of mulled wine and mince pies!

The biggest of all is Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park.

The Christmas sparkle and joyful activities are taking place all over the city, making London one of the most Christmassy capitals in Europe.

The Making of Harry Potter at Warner Bros Studios, is exeptionaly festive this time of the year and you will experience Hogwarts in the snow. 🙂

Whatever you do, keep this joyful spirit for the whole year ♥

‘Tis the season!
